• PLATE and MESH PREPARATION

1) Thermo drapes for the Inion Thermo water bath are supplied sterile. The water bath takes 20-30 minutes to heat the sterile water to the required temperature of 55C. Inion CPS plates and meshes take approximately one minute to be fully activated in the water bath. Plate and mesh adaptation is carried out after activation.

2) After activation the plates retain a degree of malleability for several hours, during which time modifications can still be made. The plates can be reactivated at any time during the procedure by re-immersion in the water bath for an additional 15-60 seconds.
